So You’re looking to fling some weight around?
In this seminar, we will reveal the secrets behind using unconventional strength tools effectively, and how every athlete can benefit from incorporating them into their training routines.
This includes: Maces, Clubs, Kettlebells, and Landmine Training
These tools are not only excellent for building strength, power, and mobility, but also offer incredible cardio benefits.
𝙒𝙝𝙤 runs this anyway?
Dan is a fitness enthusiast with a background in CrossFit, Strength Sports, and Martial Arts. He is the 2-time Vintage Strength Games Champion, placed top 10 in the open heavyweight class at the US Strongman Nationals, and 4th at IPL Worlds.
𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨?
Clubs and Maces are rotational tools that have been used for more than 3,000 years in ancient Persia and India. These implements are used, traditionally and in the modern fitness scene, to develop shoulder strength and overall body coordination. They will keep you from getting injured and build your shoulders and upper back like nothing else can.
𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙧𝙚 Kettlebell𝙨?
Kettlebells are Russian in origin and were originally used as counterweights to weigh things like grain. They came over to the USA in the early 2000's as a fitness tool. They are great for ballistic movements, unilateral work, and are a pretty great general strength tool as well.
𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 is Landmine Training?
Landmine Training is another way to perform clean, jerk, and snatching movements with a barbell. The bar is anchored to the floor or a rack. The big difference from barbell cleans and snatches is the unilateral/anti-rotational qualities of this style of lifting. You will learn how to be coiled over and still retain tension. This position is a stance you will find yourself in quite often in athletics and through this style of training you will get very strong and explosive unilaterally.
𝙒𝙝𝙮 are these tools 𝙨𝙤 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙?
Working with these tools will teach your body how to control weights while in an unfamiliar position, which is how life and sport tend to be. This also means they are wonderful for injury prevention and cross-training.
